Note: All tour packages are modular and you can use these
itineraries as a starting point and we can help modify this
itineraries to accommodate your personal requirements and
desires to find your perfect holiday.
Day 01 Arrival in Istanbul
Upon arrival to Istanbul Ataturk Airport, you will be met
by our staff and accompanied during the transfer to your
hotel. You have the afternoon and evening free to relax
and/or check out the city.
Day 02 Imperial Istanbul Tour (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch)
Your guide will take you to visit some of Istanbul’s
most fascinating sights such as the Blue Mosque; unique with
its 6 Minarets, St Sophia Museum; the jewel of Byzantine
architecture in Istanbul, a 6th Century Church dedicated
to Divine Wisdom. We walk around the Hippodrome where once
chariot races & other activities took place during the
Roman period. We’ll have lunch at a local restaurant
serving Turkish Cuisine before heading to the Grand Bazaar;
worlds oldest & biggest covered bazaar with more than
4000 shops which are still in business today. Finally we
visit Topkapi Palace; the home of the Ottoman Sultans & their
families for over 400 years, a city within a city with 3000
residents. We will also see the Harem section & rooms
which have become a myth in the West due to the discrete
life of the Sultans living here. The day will finish with
the visit to the Mosque of Suleymaniye the Magnificent. At
the end of the tour the guide will take you back to your
hotel, evening at leisure.
Day 03 Flight to Antalya / Mediterranean Jewels Tour (Meals:
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Transfer to Istanbul Airport for the flight to Antalya. On
your arrival to Antalya Airport you will be met by your tour
guide and depart to visit Perge, an important city of ancient
Pamphylian, Perge was originally settled by the Hittites
around 1500 BC. St. Paul preached some of his first sermons
here. The theater stage has finely carved marble reliefs;
other carvings from around the city are displayed in the
stadium. After lunch, proceed to Aspendos one of the best
preserved theatres in the world with seating for 15,000.
Still used today, the theater galleries, stage decorations
and acoustics all testify to the architects success. Nearby
stand the remains of a basilica, agora and one of the largest
aqueducts in Anatolia. It is commonly believed that Aspendos
was founded by colonist from Argos. After the tour, you will
be transferred to your hotel in Antalya.
Day 04 Free Day in Antalya / Flight to Istanbul (Meal: Breakfast)
After breakfast at the hotel, remainder of day will be at
your leisure to explore Antalya and Old City on your own.
At the end of the day, you will be transferred to Antalya
Airport for your flight to Istanbul. With your arrival
to Istanbul, you will met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 05 Bosphorus Cruise Tour (Meal: Breakfast)
Start the tour today with a drive to Golden Horn, along the
way see traces of local history, view Fener Orthodox Patriarchate,
Metal Church of St Stephen the Bulgarian, Ahrida Synagogue,
Eyup Sultan Mosque and see the 21km long City Walls of
Istanbul. You will visit the Egyptian Market (Spice Bazaar),
then board the ferry which has become one of the icons
of Istanbul. Alongside million dollar mansions we will
see the two bridges linking Europe and Asia by road, as
well as the seaside summer palaces and unique wooden houses
not to mention the natural beauty of the forests above.
Your afternoon will be free to discover Istanbul.
Day 06 Departure transfer (Meal: Breakfast)
Option to extend package with additional night(s) in Istanbul
or we will arrange for the transfer to Istanbul International
Airport for your return or onward flight.
