Note: All tour packages are modular and you can use these
itineraries as a starting point and we can help modify this
itineraries to accommodate your personal requirements and
desires to find your perfect holiday.
Day 01 Arrival in Istanbul
Upon arrival to Istanbul Ataturk Airport, you will be met
by our staff and accompanied during the transfer to your
hotel. You have the afternoon and evening free to relax
and/or check out the city.
Day 02 Ottoman and Byzantine Relics Tour (Meals: Breakfast,
Lunch)
Discover the Byzantian and Ottoman Relics, visit Saint Sophia
Museum, one of the world s greatest architectural marvels,
then visit the Sultanahmet Mosque, built in the 16th century,
unique with 6 minarets and its magnificent interior decoration
of the blue Iznik tiles. The Ancient Hippodrome, the scene
of chariot races with three monuments, the Obelisk of Theodosius,
the bronze Serpentine column and the column of Constantine.
Before lunch visit the Grand covered bazaar within over 4,000
tiny shops. Visit Royal Topkapi palace, the great palace
of the Ottoman Sultan s from the 15th to the 19th centuries.
The tour concludes with a visit to the marvelously tiled
tiny Suleymaniye Mosque, built in 1550 by the famous architect
Sinan.
Day 03 Flight to Cappadocia / North Cappadocia Tour (Meals:
Breakfast, Lunch)
Transfer to Istanbul Airport Internal terminal for early
flight to Kayseri. Upon arrival to Kayseri Airport, meeting
tour guide at airport and drive to Cappadocia. Today visit
Devrent Valley and Monk's valley (Pasabagi) where you will
find the world famous fairy chimneys. Lunch break in Avanos
then on to visit Goreme Open-Air Museum to explore the numerous
churches and monasteries with their frescoes. These churches
and monasteries where carved from the soft volcanic stone
and decorated by Medieval Orthodox Christian Monks around
12th Century AD. A visit to Ortahisar Natural Rock Castle
for panoramic views.
Day 04 South Cappadocia Tour / Flight to Istanbul (Meals:
Breakfast, Lunch)
Check out then depart on another full day tour this time
starting with a visit to the famous Kaymakli Underground
City which was built as a defense and hiding site during
the period of spreading Christianity. Then on to Cavusin
Old Christian Village where you will find a triple Apse church
and the monastery of St John the Baptist. In Sinasos Old
Greek Village you find old Greek and Ottoman houses. The
days touring includes an easy grade 3km hike through Red
Valley offering some great scenery that would otherwise not
be accessible by car and a visit to Uchisar Natural Rock
Castle. At end of the tour, transfer on to Kayseri Airport
for the return flight to Istanbul.
Day 05 Bosphorus Cruise & Dolmabahce Palace
Tour (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch)
Early in the morning a full day tour to Bosphourus and Asia.
Visit the Egyptian spice market and then embark on a boat
along the waterway separating Europe and Asia. Passing the
magnificent Dolmabahce palace unter the bosphorus bridge,
villas, fortress and small fishing villages. After lunch
in a local seafood restaurant across the bosphorous bridge
visit Summer residence of the Ottoman Sultan with its Harem
on the Asian side. Then see the panoramic view of the Istanbou
and bosphorus from the Camlic hill the highest point of the
Instabul then visit Dolmabahce Palace. Back to the hotel
in the early evening. Overnight stay in istanbul.
Day 06 Departure transfer (Meal: Breakfast)
Option to extend package with additional night(s) in Istanbul
or we will arrange for the transfer to Istanbul International
Airport for your return or onward flight.
